Apple TV/New Airport Extreme

Am I the only one bugged that these are two separate items? It just seems you need both to utilize the full benefits of the hardware. Forget about the TV part of Apple TV for a second. I'm thrilled about the two way access with itunes. Like many, my music collection (currently weighing in at 180 gigs) is on an external hardrive connected to my computer and airport expressed down to the living room. I love the idea of connecting the hard drive right to the airport, (thus freeing up the laptop) but how come there is no connection for the new airport to the stereo? I'd rather pay more for one unit that does both, or at least see them be integrated & stackable the way Lacie has done with it's new Airport specific hard drive.

Re: Apple TV/New Airport Extreme
I'm not really sure what you mean. The AirPort Extreme is meant to be connected to your wired network. The Apple TV is meant to be on the other end of the wireless connection, somewhere where there isn't a wired connection. (If there's a wired one, though, you'd just plug it in.)

For a connection to the stereo in a wireless repeater, you want an AirPort Express, which is a very different product (no user interface) than the Apple TV.
