Google gears up offline access for Web apps
Google will release Wednesday night a browser extension designed to allow developers to build offline components for Web hosted applications.

No Safari support as usual from Google.
I am really getting ticked off about sites that don't work with Safari.
You would think that Google and Apple would want to make things work together - I mean Google CEO Eric Schmidt is even on the Apple board of directors.
