Hi
OK...What? So, you want to sync all of your songs but you only want some of your playlists? Why? Do you have a lot of playlists and feel it would be a lot to navigate ( scroll ) through? If so, it would take a very lot of playlists to make a burden.
I don't have one but can't you select certain playlists using check boxes under the Music tab -- select Apple TV in the source list? That's how it works with the iPod.
BTW, it's not iTV but AppleTV. iTV was the codename.

Re: iTV Woes... here we go again!!
Exactly... I have a ton of songs that I want access to (21,123 and growing), and more playlists than I want to display. It may seem silly, but it is kind of a nuisance when you've spent time organising files the way you want them and then have to look at all these duplicates on screen. Some are seperate playlists for the ipod, some works in progress, others that are sort of just goofy or risque that I don't necessarily want to scroll through while AppleTv is on display for guests. If you just sync selected playlists, only songs that are in a playlist gets synced. What just doesn't make sense to me is that the Master Music file (represented by the blue music note icon) is not an option!! This seems like an absurd oversight. So unless I'm missing something, the only way I can see to get all the songs in is to copy the entire music library into a playlist called "All." It's both an extra step in set up and it essentially leaves me with two library files.
Hi
OK. Fair problem. Unfortunately, I also can't think of a way to get around it. I forgot about only the songs within the playlists are synced. Well, time for you to submit some feedback.
