Toshiba unveils new 80GB, 160GB 1.8-inch hard disks

Toshiba has introduced new 80GB and 160GB 1.8-inch hard disks, only minutes after Apple announced refreshed iPods that also use 80GB and 160GB hard disk mechanisms. more

I think this exemplifies how important Apple is.

I can't think of any other company who would convince a supplier to hold back on announcing a product in this way.

What sort of English is "as what operate"?? I know this is America, but let's try to keep some standards here please. "The same size disk drives that operate in the iPod classic" would have been much better.

Thanks for nuttin'. Toshiba should have persuaded Apple to put the large drive into the iPod Touch instead of some peanut-sized capacity NAND memory module.
