Poor image quality

The image quality on the site is poor in some places. Looking at the code you're using CSS to create thumvbnail images by setting a width which is creating a "jaggy" appearance. Sizing the images properly saves bandwidth and makes them appear clearer.

Re: Poor image quality
Actually we have a style guide that specifies what image sizes should be used where, so the CSS scaling should be minimal. If you're seeing jaggies that's because we messed up and put in the wrong image. :-)

If you've got specifics, let us know and we'll look into them.

Thanks for writing.

I'm not quite sure what's up with your browser, but scaling down images shouldn't cause jaggies. Only scaling them up. The image you mentioned looks immaculate on OS X in Safari and Firefox. I can't check XP from here, but I will try it the next time I get a chance.
