"The iPhone has a camera but not the iPhone."

Just to nitpick

Nah, we call that a "good catch." Thanks for making it. Fixed.

Re: The ins and outie of the iPod touch
Heck, even though it'd be an "outie" I'd love a thin little bar with speakers on it because that's a key difference between the iPhone and the iPod– The ability to share some music or video with one, or many people, without wires.

I'd even buy one of those little microphone add-ons like the Belkin Tune Talk, Griffin iTalk Pro, or the XtremeMac MicroMemo if it meant I could share my music, or even listen to a tune without forcing me, and others, to don headphones.

I'm with you. My daughter is constantly after my iPhone because she loves to watch movies on it and is perfectly happy (and actually prefers) to listen to the movie's soundtrack through the iPhone's built-in speaker. A small attachable speaker as you describe would be a great addition to my iPod touch.

Re: The ins and outie of the iPod touch
I would be all for a speaker add-on for the Touch, especially if Apple (or any random third party) found a way to include a few megs of RAM in the thing. I don't know how bulky that would be, but if you can fit a gigabyte of storage onto a card the size of your pinky's fingernail, why not do the same for memory?

Chris,
I asked this very question in the ipod forum.
http://forums.macworld.com/message/601419#601419

User "evansls" bought one and actually posted a pretty good review.
I still have not bought one but Evan seemed pretty happy with it.
I still have not seen a better one.
Or even one that comes close.

Kind of surprising actually.
Makes me think I should start producing them!
Ehh, but if I had that much ambition I would be rich already.
Sorry, am I rambling now? :-)
