In need of HELP

I am asking this question here because I am not sure where else to ask it.
One of my side jobs is operating a bike tour company. I have 3 three small web sites up. The person that has been in charge of where the sites are hosted moved two of them to a different server (I set up the third). Ever since the change I have been getting a lot of spam. The problem is that much of it has my domain names attached to them example "webmaster@mydomainname" I never set up a "webmaster" address.
Now "info@mydomainname" is being used. This is an address I use to have things sent to me. However it is being used to send contaminated emails and emails for skin sites all over the place.
I have talked to the guy in charge of where and what servers are being used and he tells me not to worry about it and there is nothing I can do. I am worried about it because it is my emails that are being used
Any thoughts as to why this may have started and what I can do to stop it?
Thanks

Re: In need of HELP
www.SpamCop.net has a good information in the FAQ and a good links section that provides detailed information.
