Security Update upsets Pogo Games

Since installing the latest security update, Pogo game rooms will not open. The Java sign appears but then I get a message saying something is wrong and I should check the URL or go to the Pogo home page. I have done all the usual things such as emptying the caches and repairing permissions, but the problem persists . Something seems strange but I cannot discover what might be wrong.

-Hi,

Try logging OUT and then back in. Also, what happens if you use a different browser?

-Hi,

Check first to make sure you don't already have J2SE 5.0; Applications/Utilities/Java

Here is more info on install: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301073

Re: Security Update upsets Pogo Games

-Hi,

I must have made a typo since you do have J2SE 5.0 B-) ..looks like other folks have snags too. Since I don't use OSX 10.5.x yet I hate to stick my neck out. I believe that version is used w/ Leopard tho. Peek at the Apple Discussion boards since others also have snags w/ the Security Update:

Re: Security Update upsets Pogo Games
:::sweet::: Too bad the combo updater has to be installed on a few OXs snags for the fix. Thanks for reposting...
