I'm already tired of hearing about this company and beginning to think the whole thing is more about publicity than legitimate product (which Mac clones aren't, by definition). Epic fail.

Re: Psystar office exists, but not yet open to the public
Well, the ever-prescient Rob Enderele says over at Tech News World:

"In what is the biggest cross-vendor effort of its type since the early '90s, the OEMs are building and funding projects to "fix Windows." I can't go into detail about who is doing what, but some are essentially efforts to find a way to recreate the MacOS."

Shame about those "details". But, clearly, Psystar has boobed thinking that OS X gives an attractive product differentiation to a hardware maker. Even Apple itself had better drop OS X before it's too late. Windows is about to clean OS X's clock. It must be true: Rob Enderle says so.

Rob Enderele, is a waist of time. This guy is so out of touch that it's not even work paying attention to him.

What? He's got an hour-glass figure?

What amused me was that Enderlele said recently that Mac users believed that anyone who criticized Apple was being paid by Microsoft. There are three problems with that statement.

First, I doubt Mac users do believe that of "anyone".

Secondly, insofar as any particular person does raise their suspicions they'd be raised whether he criticized Apple or whether he criticized any other Microsoft competitor.

Thirdly, the content of internal Microsoft documents that speak of buying opinion would mean that their suspicions that it is often bought would be amply justified.

Direct quotation from one James Plamondon, a so-called "Technical Evangelist" at Microsoft:

"--Analysts: Analysts sell out - that's their business model."

Actually, his waist is SOOO big it goes into the fourth dimension.

He's a tool. Reminds me of Bill O'Reilly. Constantly spouts off about all those other people being fan boys (or in O'Reilly's case "smear merchants"), while simultaneously being the poster child for exactly what he accuses everyone else of doing.

Enderle may be in a the pay of MS. Not every windows apologist is. Though honestly I doubt he is, because all the evidence indicates that he is a delusional moron who believes every bit of pro MS garbage thrown his way.

you'd have to be nuts to do business with this outfit. Then again, there are a lot of Windows users out there...

Agreed. You can get cheap PCs anywhere. If people really want to steal MacOS X and put it on a PC, why not buy a PC from a more reputable company?

Re: Psystar office exists, but not yet open to the public
IDG News Service had requested an interview with Pedraza on Friday both via phone and e-mail, but those queries haven’t been answered.

Ok, it's Tuesday now, has Psystar taken advantage of the free advertising and agreed to an interview by IDG News Service, as requested four days ago? Or are they hiding something?
