This is reputed to be a good product, but suffers from having a really dumb name, IMHO.

And yet, its name is still so much more appealing than the names of the other low-cost Mac alternatives, ChocoFlop and The GIMP. Come on, open source idealists, nobody's gonna take you seriously with names like those...

I love Pixelmator. It's my favorite image editing app. That said, I often have to switch to PS for larger projects. I find myself doing a rough draft in PM, then moving it to PS for fine tuning.

And yes, I agree that it could have a better name. Though I'm too tired to think of one right now.

I love Pixelmator too.

How about just "Pixelator"?
