Macbook Pro 17" 2008 video playback issues
Hi everyone- surprised that I haven't found an information related to this- maybe because the problem isn't big enough or noticeable enough- but it definitely is there... during video playback, there are lines that sometimes run through the video, it's not actual lines, its more like the video screen splitting up for a fraction of a second- i know there is nothing wrong with the video- because i've seen perfect playback on another computer- it usually occurs during fast motion- its extremely noticeable when I play videogames on WIndows XP- I tried configuring my video card in multiple ways but to no avail- so I though it was just they way the video card was interacting with windows- but it happens on my Leopard side too, it can happen during video playback, like on you tube or even when I click and drag a window around really fast I see it break up-
In my 3d program Cinema 4D- it occurs in my viewport, when my video card is set to Open GL, but does not occur when it is set to Software- so I think there is something wrong with the way the video card is interacting with the Operating system- one thing to note is- I have the high resolution screen- maybe this is the problem- I'm not sure, but its really annoying because I work with video and can't have this problem, and I'm not sure I can return my computer for this problem- What can I do?
