It looks like you spin the reels by tapping a button. How lame! It would be better if they used the accelerometer and allowed you to spin the reels using a pulling motion, maybe by gripping the iPhone vertically/edgewise and then pulling it down to a horizontal/edgewise position.

I've only been within spitting distance of a slot machine a couple of times, but I'm under the impression that pushing a button is the standard way to start the wheels spinning today.

Yeah, the "one-armed bandit" is a vestige of yesteryear. But that hasn't stopped others from employing the accelerometer as a means of spinning dials. Urbanspoon's restaurant finding app for the iPhone works thusly, for example.

Honestly, you're going to look pretty foolish doing such an arm motion with your iPhone in public. Not a problem at home, though. I actually have a bit of this issue with the quite good MotionX Poker. I feel a little bit goofy playing it in public, sitting/standing there shaking my iPod touch to roll the dice. Oh well. :)

Push a button and trust your luck? Sounds like another Griffin product - the iTrip... After recently buying their top-line version, I wish I had spent the Bennie in Vegas instead.
