Can I install fusion/parallel and still use Boot Camp!

Hi!

I would like to install fusion/parallel onto my macbook pro so I can use some windows applications while working at school. However, at home, I'd like to run Boot Camp to play video games. I want to use Boot Camp for gaming because I will use the RAM to run one system, not share it between OSX and XP. Otherwise, the gaming will slow down, no?

Anyway, is it possible? I mean, boot camp and fusion/parallel would use the same Window partition, no? How could do that?

Thank you!

Johnathan! :)

Hi
I did it perfectly fine with Parallels. I would still do it but Parallels doesn't yet support 64-bit ( x64 ) Windows.

You can do it with parallels and VMware fusion, just not with Sun's free virtualbox

It works with xp and vista, and, as i said, it works with parallels and fusion, just not virtualbox

Hi
I haven't tried fusion. x64 means 64-bit. There are both 32- and 64-bit versions of Vista and XP. Not many use x64 versions of WIndows.

Hi
OK...Straight from the horses' mouths...

Boot Camp works better with Parallels Desktop
