I recently picked up a Power Mac G4 - it has a 867 MHz processor, 1 GB RAM. I want to run FCP Studio 2 and Pro Tools LE; but the processor requirements don't jive, FCP requires 1.2 GHz and PT, 1 Ghz.

Now this is where I get confused, the seemingly not-so-educated helper elves at the Apple Store say that I cannot, under any circumstances, run FCP S2 on the G4, but I was told by another that I should be able to.

So here is my 3 part question: First, can I run these programs on my computer? secondly, can I upgrade my processor in order to do so, and finally, what type of processor should I get.
