Itunes music library problem
Hi all,
I upgraded OSX from 10.4 to 10.5 and due to corrupted files had to do a clean install of 10.5.
I was running iTunes 8.0 under the 10.4 OSX and had my music on my second hard drive. After installing 10.5 and iTunes 8.0 I tried to point iTunes to the music library by starting iTunes with the option key pressed and then choosing my music folder on the other drive.
I keep getting "An ITunes library file could not be found in "xxxx" folder. Please choose another folder.
Is there a way that I can find the old library file so I dont have to go and re-do my entire music collection.
I do have my ipod updated with my music so can I "reverse" engineer itunes from my ipod?
Thanks
Mike
