Smart move by Apple and Wal-mart. Apple: hitting a niche of people that would love to have the products they sell without the need to head to an Apple store, AT&T store, and/or Best Buy which are non-existent in a lot of cities.

Wal-mart: continuing to expand their level of brand from cheap and 2nd class to high quality electronics. Now if they can get some iMac accessories that would make my day!

When are we going to be able to buy this phone without committing to a 2 year plan? This option exist already in a number of countries, why not here in the US?
