Re: Safari

-Hi,

Installed Safari 3.2 on OS 10.4.11 recently and all is fine. Might try Repair Permissions.

Re: Safari
-Hi,

Create another user account if you don't have one and give a test drive. If it works...than you'll know the snag is in your account. And then try trashing Safari prefs. Might want to backup (export) bookmarks for safety purposes in case you lose them. Then import them back into Safari. Its worth a go...

Edit ..I've never done this but if ALL fails you could always trash Safari and download a new guy. The last resort... B-)

Re: Safari
Hey Doug,
Guess what, I didn't download Safari 3.2 until I read your post (today), and at this time "all" seems to be working well.

You probably would've lost sleep if you didn't know that. LOL

Katchris.....
Some have been messed up with 3rd party app's like PithHelment, and other plugins.

It's easy enough to open a new account to test if 3.2 is messed up.

I always cleanup my computer before I download something, and if it is still screwed up, just backup and dump it like Doug said.

Re: Safari

Hi -Peter,

Glad you danced along. Now we know that to DL and install Safari 3.2.x does work.

Now I can sleep tonight... :^0
