Re: Google adds customization feature to Internet search
I would really like to turn this off. I won't ever use it, it's visually distracting, and I don't want to see others' comments on sites. Unfortunately, the only way to do that is to log out, so I guess that's how i'll be searching from now on.

Re: Google adds customization feature to Internet search
What is all this nonsense about "customized" search results when you can't even sort results chronologically? Duhhh? Personally, I think Google is getting a little long in the tooth, and I'm hoping that a better mousetrap is about to appear on the horizon.
Re: Google adds customization feature to Internet search
Rob, i completely agree with you. I hate SearchWiki. And, after a quick google search, I found something very useful; If you use Firefox, and have the greasemonkey extension installed (and you should), there's a script that completely disables SearchWiki, even if you are logged in. Here's a link to the script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/37500
Hope this helps!
