The most common reason for these normally blocked popups/pop-unders is flash and other plugins. Some Flash is embedded in the page, and some JavaScript on the page references the Flash plugin, and tells it to open a window. Disabling Flash or using an extension such as FlashBlock can reduce the occurrence to be sure. Also, it might not be a bad idea to download PithHelmet 2.8.4 to help block more ads in your Safari browser. If you need more mac support feel free to contact me on my website linked here.
