You shouldn't be in any rush to embrace blue ray drives when they finally appear. We all know that it'll be just like with CD's and DVD's. They drag it out by starting with a 2 x, then a 4x, then an 8x etc, etc, etc. Also keep in mind too that burning to blue rays will probably take forever because of the large amounts of data being saved. I predict that Blue ray will fail because of this and the fact that hard drives are so plentifully cheap to buy now.

I'd buy an Apple media server in a heartbeat. Well, two heartbeats, really, since it's likely to cost about $200 more than I want to spend.

Hope Steve recovers. He is a great leader and I join a huge following! He has worked so hard to make a quality computer and animation studio and it has caught up. Our prayers are with him.

Adam Engst's predictions are as surly and Moltz's predictions are funny.

The rest are spectacularly predictable. Oh wait, that was ironic.

I'd like to see the Classic slim down and bulk up with a 240gb/320gb model. For those of us who like to have our entire music/video collection in our pocket, this seems like a natural. Not a expert just a consumer wanting more.

The article was about the forecast for the year 2009, not the Macworld Expo. But as far as that goes, Applecrate was spot on.

I still think Apple will likely focus on a couple or few mid-range, lower cost products through the year.

Is there any way that Apple could make a seriously needed change to iTunes? In the info tab, you cannot delete contacts. You can delete them on you iPhone, but once synced, it puts the same ones on again. I believe the iTunes program could be much better with this type of update. I'm sure these smart guys could figure out how to do it.
