Mac software for completing 1099s

I'm an employer who's been searching for years for an easy way to complete 1099 forms for independent contractors. Is there any software that will do that? That is, allow me to input the info and have the software print a 1099?

Thanks

Re: Mac software for completing 1099s

I'm assuing that QuickBooks for Mac does not provide this functionality?

How much do the 1099s change from year to year and from State to State? I might be interested in developing an application that does this.

I just checked with Ituit, and QuickBooks for Mac will do 1099s and 1096s.

If you're not looking for an application that will do anything more than allowing you to manually fill in all the information then printing it, i.e. no math etc, you could always use a scanner to scan a blank 1099, use the Print Dialog to save the form as a PDF, then use something like FormulatePro to fill it in and then just print as you normally would. And it's free also.
