Parallels or VMware Fusion on a windows-based computer

I know these two programs will allow you to install on a mac and run windows applications on my windows-based computers via remote desktop, (through my router/home office network), but can I install either one of these on my windows computer and run the mac software in a simialr manner?

I will be migrating from windows to macs and will be buying mac software. During the transition, however, I would like to remotely (via my home ofice network) run the mac software from my windows-based computers.

Any help with this?

Thanks,

Bob K.

You can't run Mac OS X on a Windows PC (without some hacks) since OS X depends on certain firmware that is present only on Macs. However, it sounds like what you are trying to do is access your Mac from your Windows PC using a browser or some other network software. That might be possible (e.g. something like Go to My PC), but I don't know which services are compatible with Macs.

Timbuktu Pro is remote desktop software that will run on both Macs and Windoze PeeCees.

You can also access your mac from the PC using VNC.
