iPhone Cradle / Dock & Travel Cable Sync Problems
Here's my confirmed but crazy problem. Whenever I sync my iPhone with any type of APPLE SUPPLIED Cradle, I get one of many different error messages stating that the disc does not exist, or there was an error, or it just shuts off the sync. without any notice. But, when I sync with only the USB cable that came with the iPhone, it all works great. Specifically, the dock cradle and travel cable that APPLE supplies with the iPhone Bluetooth Headset, has this problem. What the hell is it with this thing? I have tried many experiments (I'm an Electronics Engineer, so I'm very curious as to how and why?) and there is no doubt that both the travel cable and the dock cradle do not work properly; but, the single cable works fine. I have used both my wife's cradle and my own, with the same problem; therefore, I know it is not the computer or the iPhone. When I contacted Apple about this, they somewhat confirmed it; but, when I asked them to get me a dock that works properly, they say that I am a rare case; therefore, they cannot put out a warranty fix for it. Has anyone else had this strange problem? If so, what can we do to get Apple to get us properly working travel cables and cradles?
