Non Broadband AT&T iPhone Customers - FREE WiFi at Starbucks

I've noticed that my iPhone can't connect to the WiFi at Starbucks. I'm not a Broadband AT&T customer - I use Comcast Broadband. So are 'we' folks out of luck?

I tried it earlier today. Use both my iPhone and Macbook via Mobile Safari trick to access free wifi. Instruction on how....http://funkdigital.wordpress.com/2008/05/01/use-atts-starbucks-wifi-for-free-iphone-hacks/

I must be missing something... I see how to do the thing in a generic Safari window. But *how* do I do the same thing in my Safari inside my iPhone??? Do I just turn on the Developer -Debug Console?

If you're on the iPhone, you don't need a hack, just login on the screen as shown... -rob.

A similar thing pops up I plug in my mobile number but it doesn't recognize me. Should I plug in: http://secure.sbc.com/att_cp.adp ?

Apparently this is not working for *non* AT&T (Pacbell) iPhone users. I tried it again and the connection doesn't work...
