Using Adobe Bridge to view raw images.

Don't know if you can help or not. I've been asking around and looking
for anybody using Photoshop CS3 Bridge on a Mac. I use both Mac and PC
and have CS3 running on both. Note that the Mac is running the Mac
version of CS3 not the XP version in Parallels or Bootcamp or some
other. My problem is: In Bridge on the Mac when I
open a folder with raw images (CR2) all that is displayed are icons. I
can open them in camera raw and Photoshop and also in Lightroom. I've
got the latest Camera Raw plugin 4.4.1 and all my apps and o/s are up
to date. I've scoured the forums and it seems others are having the
same issue but no solutions given.

Any
suggestions are appreciated. There is probably some setting somewhere
that is set wrong. I'm also wondering if I have a conflict with some
other image editing software.
Thanks

You might want to check"Your Complete Guide to Adobe Bridge" <http://blog.epicedits.com/2008/05/07/your-complete-guide-to-adobe-bridge/>

About all there is to know about Bridge. Another suggestion is to Google "Adobe Bridge" for a bunch of great articles.

Best widhes,

Ed

Bugs2020, one thing you really may want to try is Lightroom to go with CS3. It is one sweet program for handling large amounts of digital before actually getting to the nitty gritty.
