AppleTV vs. Apple Mini

Why would one choose AppleTV over the Mini? In my opinion, the Mini can accomplish everything AppleTV can and more!

the apple tv is usable with your current tv. You are not required to get a huge display to make the videos on front row worth watching from far away (such as the couch you most likely will be watching your apple TV from).

Re: AppleTV vs. Apple Mini
Please provide details. What are the pros and cons of each? What is the relative cost including apps you would have to buy to make the mini perform all the functions of the Apple TV. Is the mini's graphics powerful enough to drive, at full resolution, a 1080P HD television?

Thanks

Re: AppleTV vs. Apple Mini
Depends on what you need. If you are only interested in is putting video/music/pictures on your TV, the Apple TV can do it at half the price of a mini, and without requiring a mouse and keyboard.

If you need a whole computer at your TV, you can pay double the Apple TV price to get a mini, and it will be somewhat more complicated to use.

Re: AppleTV vs. Apple Mini
I think that the mini, as it can drive large displays, it will be able to drive a tv. I am not sure. You might need to ask someone at apple.
