uploading photos while on vacation

Anybody got any ideas? I'm traveling from USA to Europe and want to be able to periodically upload my pictures to ... something, so my family can see them and I can then delete them from my camera card and keep shooting. I just got a .mac account but it seems I can only upload from iphoto. No guarantee that I will have access to a mac with iphoto while I'm there.

Suggestions??

Thanks!

I like using Flickr hosted by Yahoo. You can upload with some restrictions for free or for a nominal fee upload full size images that you can download later if you want. In either case the pictures can be viewed by anyone who enters the URL.

Look here: http://www.eye.fi/ this will allow you to upload without a computer. Sounds great for what you want to do!

you could try google's picasa

https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?hl=en_US&continue=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com.au%2Flh%2Flogin%3Fcontinue%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fpicasaweb.google.com.au%252Fhome%253Fhl%253Den%2526tab%253Dwq&service=lh2&passive=true

it has a small app that lets you drag and drop to upload your pics, one at a time or all at once, you can order prints through it as well. it will do slide shows and probably lots more when you look into it

Re: uploading photos while on vacation
My suggestion would be to buy the least expensive MAC laptop and use it for photos and communication.
I took my nephew to Europe last year and we took 1500 photos in 10 days. I downloaded them to my laptop
everynight and we reviewed and sent the best home via Skype and the local internet cafe'. The addition of
Skype to communicate with home was great. Hope you have a wonderful trip! Bickwiz
