Macbook spits out discs

So I went to go burn a DVD today on my Macbook (purchased January '08) and my macbook spits the disc out within a minute. At first I thought this was the disc, I tried multiple DVD + R's, tried a DVD-R, and a CD-R and it did it to all of them, I rebooted the computer (10.5.4) and it still does this. Does anybody have any suggestions for this aggravating problem?

The Matshita drive that Apple puts in its laptops is generally regarded
as a piece of cheap junk.

Buy an external superdrive.

Re: Macbook spits out discs
However, Id definitely say that before you go investing on a new drive - if you're under warranty definitely take it into an Apple Store and have them replace it/take a look at it, because obviously somethings wrong (with the drive or it could even be a software/firmware issue).
