My current cell contract is expiring and I'm thinking of buying the iPhone. I want to use it like my iPod touch and only use wi-fi instead of getting the data plan. Am I required to buy the data plan or can I just buy a service plan? I've been finding conflicting information online and figured this was the place to get the truth. Thanks!
