This app is just about the epitome of a great iPhone app. Useful? Check. Attention to detail? Check. Beautiful? Check. Priced fairly? Check. It does one thing, and it does it perfectly. This is everything an iPhone app should be.

As an iPod Touch owner who doesn't always have wifi access, my one wish is that it would have some memory to recall what it last displayed, even just a few hours or minutes earlier.

This is probably my favorite app. My only wish (and it looks like it's about to be granted) is time zone support.

I highly recommend this for anyone who watches TV.

Will it connect to an eyeTV or other TVR and program it to record a show remotely? DirectTV was advertising something like this yesterday.

No, it's just for showing you when TV episodes are going to air. To record something to a DirecTV DVR (I forget if it only works with the HD DVRs), go to m.directv.com and log in to pick shows to schedule. You can do the same thing on the DTV Web site as well.

I've played with it, but I haven't found any way to get it to list your favorite shows and when the next new episode of each is on.
