No it comes with a few copyright free classics and that is it. They do promise to deliver more books in future updates though. Most copyright free books are available from the Web anyhow - mostly from the Gutenberg Project. Classics cannot download from these sites, Stanza can - it does not look that fancy, but it works amazingly well and they have a free desktop app that allows you to convert most text to compatible books and sync them up to the iPhone.
So, besides the pseudo "Delicious Library" interface, there is only free content included and you have no choices.

The link at the top of the article takes you to the Classics website. The link at the bottom of the article takes you to the iTunes Store where you can read about it, view screenshots, purchase—and it has a link on the right to the author's website.
