External Mic and iSight Video in iMovie HD

Is it possible to capture audio from an USB mic while using the macbook's built in isight camera for the video in iMovie HD ?

Is it as simple as changing the input preference?

iMovie HD has no iSight preferences to change, but Quicktime does. If you have Quicktime Pro, you can record with iSight as well as record audio in from an external mic. Just click on Preferences and click the "recording" window and you can change the input settings. It will cost $30, but I have found it a worthy investment.
