iPhoto File Management


I have been using iPhoto for several years. For the most part I've been happy with the software but now my photos are starting to outgrow the hard drive space on my laptop. I'd like to move most of the library off the internal hard drive and onto a remnovable external.


So far I haven't seen a way to split the libary. If iPhoto can't do this, can Apeture?

If you simply want to split the library, use something like iPhoto Library Manager. If you just want to move it to the external and use it from there, do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1229
