Re: MMS - viewmymessage.com
I am able to get to it via EDGE without any problems. It is a phisher-friendly site though. Be sure to type it in as you see it. Very easy to add an "s" to the end of it, i.e. viewmymessages.com. If you don't type in the www, it will redirect you to www.viewmymessage.com. I suggest you go there on your iPhone and bookmark it.
Re: MMS - viewmymessage.com
Are you sure you're on edge? I've tried it many times including right now. The bar goes to the H while in verticle mode, and then it won't go any farther. I get a message "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding. If I go back into settings and turn wifi back on... It goes straight through.
And even more... Once having the page loaded over wifi, I just went back into settings turned off wifi. Went back into safari hit reload... Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding.

Re: MMS - viewmymessage.com
Now -that- is weird. I can't think of a reason why you can connect from EDGE, but I can't.
The reason they wouldn't allow you to connect would be the simple reason of money. iPhone users aren't the only ones who use their edge network. If you can use edge to download mms messages, why would you pay extra to be able to receive mms?
edit:
Ha.. just as bad.. I turned off wifi went to google.com/m searched for viewmymessage.com .. clicked on the link, it loaded through the proxy. Clicking on view in html which just redirects you to the website... "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding."
Second edit:
Sadly, the formating won't show the image from the mms I was sent. Bah

Re: MMS - viewmymessage.com
My wife sent me an MMS message. I received the standard "you've been sent an mmms message" along with a link and my password and login. She has sent several of these to me over the last couple weeks. Every time I go to view it, either on the iPhone or my Mac, I log in with the appropriate username and password, and they all say an error occured and cannot display. Strange.
The difference between at&t and t-mobile is this.. in my area.. i never had once a dropped call. I never once been sitting on a bench somewhere with full reception.. and then lose all bars... just to get full reception a minute later without leaving the bench.. Actually I never had any trouble whatsoever... Now I'm in a 2 year contract with a company who goes out of it's way to point out they don't have many dropped calls when I'm dropping them all the time.
... but this is getting sidetracked
