Should I give up on Safari?

I'm a luddite and still on OS X 10.3.9. I won't be upgrading anytime soon

I'm using Safari 1.3.2

It crashes at least once or twice a day with several type of websites.

Should I use Firefox? Or something else instead of Safari.

I'd give both Firefox and Camino a try. They're both free and maybe they'll be more reliable for you.

I was wondering if it could be a font issue.

How could I find out the list of "must have" fonts for Safari to work?

Have had some font issues in the past.

It got to the point where Safari shut itself down within seconds after I opened it. Reinstalling it did not help. I changed to Firefox and am very happy with it. I don't miss Safari at all.
