I'm not sure if a Macbook will run it, Is see no reason it shoulden't if a Macmini can run DOOM III Flawlessly (non Intel)
I'm actually picking a copy up at MacWorld so we'll see

No, MacBooks are not within the system requirement range of Battlefield 2142. You need a discrete graphics chip, which they do not have.
